If you wish to have your partner join in, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for rate adjustments!
A non-refundable deposit of $1500 is required to reserve your spot. This is a first come, first served basis.

What If I Don't Have A Tail?
We have rental and purchase options for tails.
-Renting a SeeThroughSea tail/top from us for is an additional $300 total for the week (sizes and colors vary depending on what we have in stock.)
-Purchasing your own SeeThroughSea tail allows us to create a uniquely customized piece, designed to your measurements and preferences. This option is an additional $2500. We will bring the tail to Tahiti and then leave it with you when the week is finished!
What If I've Never Swam In The Ocean/Am Not A Confident Swimmer/Have Never Done This Before?
We ask that clients who are considering joining us for this journey have a decent amount of water experience in a mermaid tail or monofin. Comfortability underwater is important for underwater modeling and, while we're happy to offer tips and help to all of our clients, if you're new to mermaiding it'd be best for you to join us on one of our Hawai'i events so we can spend some one on one time teaching you the ropes!
IF YOU FEAR SMALL SHARKS OR STINGRAYS, this may not be the event for you. Jim has his degree in Marine Biology and both of us have worked extensively with sharks and rays, we will be happy to educate you on proper "etiquette" for when you're in the water with these wonderful animals! There is nothing to be fearful of but we understand that some clients have seen Jaws a few too many times and can't get past it. Working with wildlife is 100% about respecting the animals and maintaining a calm and collected disposition so you don't scare the wildlife away with splashing and mayhem. The sharks and rays in Tahiti interact with humans on a daily basis and will see you as another one of the many many many human beings they've encountered.
Remember, you're with professionals. We (Jim and Alicia) are trained freedivers/certified lifeguards and have been practicing our craft of underwater photography for over a decade. We will provide you with exercises and training techniques to practice prior to your event to help you do the very best you can during your event!
Should I Rent A Car?
You can if you want to explore the island on the days we're not on the ocean together, but it's not necessary. We'll rent a large van for our group to use. Our rental house is located right on the ocean and is also down the street from a small town where you can shop for food, check out the local boutiques and send post cards to friends and family!
What If The Weather Doesn't Cooperate?
Rain won't put a damper on your day (because you'll be underwater already!). If the open ocean is rough, French Polynesia is famous for its stunning lagoons that are teaming with vibrant life and are well protected by a barrier reef.
Will We See Wildlife?
That's the plan! We never guarantee wildlife, but the goal is to spend two full days out on the water swimming amongst stingrays, sharks and possibly Southern Pacific Humpback Whales! As stated earlier, we have learned that 99.9% of Humpback Whales are afraid of mermaid tails and flee as soon as they see a mermaid. Because of this, we will not be using tails with the whales but will happily encourage you to don masks and fins and sneak quietly into the water to take in the awe and beauty of these wondrous cetaceans!
On that note: We will not harass wildlife. If we recognize signs of irritation or discomfort in any of the animals we're working alongside, we'll simply let you know that the animal isn't a willing participant and we'll move on!
On the days we're not on the boat, we intend to take you to some of our most favorite snorkel spots filled with brilliant corals, schools of electric blue fish, vibrant anemones, gorgeous clams and much more!
What Else Can I Do When We're Not Out On Photoshoots?
We will be on a fairly small island but it has so much to offer! You can snorkel the lagoons, hike the mountainside, search for baby reef sharks along the sandbars, check out the swanky Sofitel hotel, pick out Tahitian pearls to bring home, or simply buy a baguette and some cheese and practice your French with the smiley lady at the corner fruit stand!
Full payment is due two months prior to your event, in July 2018.
Cancellations less than 65 days prior to the event are non-refundable.
